Sr Trans Associate – US Insurance

The Sr Trans Associate – US Insurance is responsible for end‑to‑end processing of personal insurance, disability, and leave claims within a fast‑paced healthcare operations environment. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring accurate claim handling and compliance with US insurance regulations.
Key responsibilities
Process and adjudicate personal insurance, disability, and leave claims from intake through resolution.

Provide timely, courteous customer service via phone, email, and portal inquiries.

Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in claim management systems.

Coordinate with internal teams (benefits, payroll, healthcare operations) to verify eligibility and resolve discrepancies.

Interpret and apply US insurance policies, regulations, and contractual terms.

Identify trends and flag potential fraud or compliance issues for escalation.

Generate routine reports on claim status, turnaround times, and service metrics.

Required qualifications
1–5 years of experience in US personal insurance, disability, or leave administration.

Demonstrated proficiency in claims processing and customer service.

Strong knowledge of US insurance regulations and healthcare operations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.

Proficiency with claim management software and Microsoft Office suite.
