Sources & Editorial Policy

How Pathw sources job information, separates employer facts from career guidance and handles uncertainty or corrections.

Our role

Pathw is a job-discovery service operated by Search Engine Insight Ltd. We aim to make advertised opportunities easier to find and understand across locations and industries. We are not the employer or the organisation deciding whom to hire.

The number of countries available in our navigation describes supported browsing destinations, not a promise of current vacancies in every country or a verified level of employer coverage.

Where listings come from

We use identified feeds, APIs and original source pages where the relevant use is permitted. We keep the provider, source identity and application URL so users can check the original advertisement. A source being publicly readable or an API being free does not alone establish every right to copy, store, modify or distribute its content.

OnJob publishes a job-board feed with republishing and application-link attribution terms at OnJob's job-board information page. We link applicants back to the relevant original OnJob vacancy. This describes that source's terms; it is not a blanket licence for unrelated providers.

Some integrations can remain private evaluations or review-only imports. A provider being installed or tested does not mean its records are approved for public use or included in Google Jobs.

What we check before publication

A source check is an observation at a particular time, not independent employer verification, identity vetting or a guarantee against fraud. If sufficient evidence is missing, we hold or omit information rather than invent it.

  • The source identity, title, company, full description, location evidence and application route.
  • Whether the source indicates closure, provides conflicting information or supplies only an incomplete snippet.
  • Country, industry and working arrangement only to the extent supported by source evidence; unresolved material conflicts need review.
  • Source permissions and whether the planned publication/indexing use is covered.
  • Duplicate source identities and URLs, so repeated collection does not intentionally create a new copy of the same vacancy.

Employer wording and Pathw guidance

The vacancy description is distinct from Pathw Career Insights. We may clean formatting, restore readable headings and lists or provide a clearly labelled summary without presenting new advice as an employer requirement. Important qualifications, limitations and source context should not be removed to make a listing appear more attractive.

Career Insights can discuss the advertised role, skills, interview preparation, company-supplied background and relevant local career information. We use references and a research date where appropriate. We distinguish a company's self-description from independent evidence and do not invent its clients, rankings, hiring counts or endorsement.

AI can assist drafting, but generated suggestions are not automatically approved facts. The current workflow uses reviewed evidence and editorial review; generating text is not the same as conducting fresh research. A reference link supports only the claims actually evidenced by that reference.

Dates, location and remote eligibility

An original source posting date is separate from Added to Pathw, a listing-review date and an editorial research date. Imports and refreshes must not be used to falsely present an older employer advertisement as newly posted.

A missing closing date or salary is labelled unstated or omitted from structured fields rather than guessed. Where source highlights and a description differ, the difference needs explanation or clarification.

We do not infer a country merely from an ambiguous city name or a search market. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or permission to work. A language requirement does not by itself establish nationality. On-site and hybrid roles must not be presented as unrestricted remote work.

Monitoring, expiry and search visibility

Feeds and source pages can change between checks. Our collectors can flag source changes or missing records for review. A record missing from one page of a feed is not, by itself, evidence that the role is closed.

We can withhold a listing, remove application details, suppress structured data or exclude a page from indexing while a review is stale or an issue is unresolved. An internal review deadline is not the employer's application deadline. The frequency and scope of monitoring differ by source; we do not promise universal real-time employer availability.

Structured data and sitemaps help describe eligible public pages to search engines. They do not guarantee indexing, ranking, Google Jobs inclusion or traffic. An unpublished Draft or private test is not a public vacancy simply because a structured-data candidate has been prepared.

Commercial relationships and ordering

A company name appearing in a listing does not establish a partnership with Pathw. If we introduce sponsored placements, paid promotion or affiliate links, the relevant commercial relationship should be disclosed where users encounter it. We do not present a paid placement as an independently earned quality or hiring-status rating.

Search and browsing order can depend on filters and listing information. We do not describe an employer, country or role as the best, highest-paying or most in demand without evidence appropriate to that claim.

Corrections, reports and removal requests

Email hello@pathw.com with the Pathw/source URL, the information you believe is wrong and supporting context. Employers and rights holders can use the same route for source attribution, permission or removal concerns. We may ask for proportionate evidence of your relationship to the listing.

We assess reports, correct or withdraw material where appropriate, and avoid silently replacing a source advertisement with a different vacancy. We cannot guarantee that every report will result in the requested outcome or give an employer response time we do not control.

If you suspect a recruitment scam, do not send payment, credentials or identity documents through an unverified route. Pathw does not need your account password or a payment to investigate a listing report.

Contact Pathw

Email hello@pathw.com. For a listing correction, include the Pathw or source URL and explain the issue. Please do not send passwords, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information.
