Preparing your application

Tailor your CV and cover letter toward front-end delivery: include a few projects that show component design, responsive layouts, and performance-minded implementation. If possible, describe your role in build setup, testing, debugging, or code review so your contribution is easy to see.

Prepare to talk through a recent feature end to end: the UI decisions, how you handled state and data flow, how you tested it, and what you would improve next time. Keep your examples specific and outcome-focused.

Questions for the recruiter

You could ask which front-end challenges are most important in the team right now, how collaboration with design and back-end engineering is typically organized, and what development practices are used for testing, code review, and performance improvement.

If useful, ask whether the team works with particular state management or testing tools, and how accessibility and cross-browser quality are approached in day-to-day work.
